FaithSearch Partners is pleased to announce that its client, AMITA Health, has selected G. Thor Thordarson as its new Chief Operating Officer.
As COO, Thordarson will provide overall leadership and direction to all the operating units of the system. He will oversee clinical integration initiatives to develop a coordinated care network, providing population health management in the market.

With 22 years of healthcare leadership, Thordarson most recently served as President/CEO of IU Health La Porte Hospital in La Porte, Indiana. He holds a master’s degree in business administration from Kent State University and a bachelor’s degree in nursing from Andrews University.
