Indiana Hospital Names New Chief Operating Officer

Camie Patterson has been appointed as Chief Operating Officer (COO) for LaPorte Hospital (LPH) in La Porte, Indiana, following a search process managed by FaithSearch Partners.

Patterson currently holds the position of COO for Self Regional Healthcare in Greenwood, South Carolina. She has served Self Regional Healthcare for more than nine years in various financial and operational leadership roles. As COO, Patterson will serve as a senior leader for LPH, overseeing all patient care, ancillary and support services.

LPH is a 227-bed, not-for-profit hospital located in La Porte, Indiana, near South Bend and Chicago. The hospital is the sole cardiovascular care provider in its local area and was recently given a Studer award for Patient Service Excellence.

Patterson received her Masters of Healthcare Administration from the Medical University of South Carolina in Charleston and her Bachelor of Science in Accounting from State University of New York in Brockport. She also holds a CPA license. Patterson begins her new role at LPH on March 10, 2014.
