Texas University Retains FaithSearch Partners for President Search

Southwestern Adventist University (SWAU) in Keene, Texas, has selected FaithSearch Partners to conduct the search for its next president. This accredited four year university has offered Christian education since 1893 and is a Christian institution focused on scholastic and spiritual development.

SWAU currently has more than 800 students enrolled and seeks a strong, relational leader to build on its legacy of preparing students for a life a Christian service. SWAU’s diversity is reflected in a student body from over 35 states and 20 countries. While offering 45 majors, graduate degrees in business, counseling and education, as well as an honors program, SWAU is also able to cater to students’ needs through smaller classes.

The new president for SWAU will help foster a culture of growth and academics partnered with a strong sense of community and spirituality.

“We are looking for someone who understands and can relate well to students, faculty and the broader community,” said Ed Fry, president of FaithSearch. “SWAU has a deeply rooted spirit of service and camaraderie that stems back to the 1800s. The new leader for this college will continue that tradition while progressing educational standards.”
