HealthSearch Partners, a FaithSearch affiliated firm, has been retained by Adventist Health Bakersfield, based in California, to manage the search for a new Market Finance Officer. Adventist Health, the parent company of Adventist Health (AH) Bakersfield, is a faith-based, nonprofit health system operating on the West Coast of the United States. It comprises more than 20 hospitals, 23,000 employees, and numerous other healthcare facilities.
The Market Finance Officer will report to the Regional Finance Officer of Adventist Health Central California as well as report to the Market President of Adventist Health Bakersfield. The position will oversee all finance activities for the region, which consists of two hospitals (with a third being planned) generating more than $400 million in annual net revenue.
“The Market Finance Officer for Adventist Health will need to healthcare financial leader with significant experience in a mid-size or larger hospital, preferably within a regional or multi-system environment.They must also be fully committed to the organization’s mission of Christian service and ministry,” said Ed Fry, President of HealthSearch who is overseeing the search with Ivan Bartolome, Senior Vice President.
