FaithSearch Partners is pleased to announce it has been retained to manage three searches for Mission Integration executives at Ascension Health hospitals/regions. Ascension Health is the nation’s largest Catholic and nonprofit health system.
The first search is for the Vice President of Mission Integration at Providence Hospital in Washington D.C. Providence Hospital is one of the country’s oldest and most respected hospitals with 408-beds and an expert medical staff of more than 500 providers. This critical leader will create and lead initiatives to shape the strategy and culture in accordance with mission of ministry. This role encompasses mission project coordination, pastoral care coordination, spiritual formation and values integration.
The second search, soon to launch, is for the Chief Mission Integration Officer at Ascension Health’s regional ministry based in Pensacola, Florida. Gulf States Ministries, which includes Sacred Heart Health System and Mobile, AL-based Providence Hospital, consists of five hospitals. Candidates for this role could be either a Mission Integration executive with a strategic orientation or a healthcare operational executive with a passion for a training in Catholic mission formation.
FaithSearch will also be launching a Chief Mission Integration Officer search for St. Vincent Health, Ascension’s largest regional ministry (19 hospitals) in Indianapolis in January.
“We are honored to be selected to assist these Ascension Health ministries through these critical search processes,” said Jeff Jernigan, Senior Vice President and Ministry Team Leader of FaithSearch Partners. “These future Mission leaders must possess exceptional leadership skills, have a passion for the system’s mission, and understand the holistic nature of Catholic healthcare.”
