Vice President, Support Services

The Vice President-Support Services for Atlanta Mission will be a critical member of the ministry’s Program Leadership Team; reporting directly to the Executive Vice President, David Hanna. He/she will coach and lead a team to provide support services across all five campuses: The Shepherd’s Inn, Fuqua Hall, My Sister’s House, Atlanta Day Shelter, and The Potter’s House. The VP-Support Services will manage transportation, housekeeping and laundry, vocational training including client task assignments, and food services. As this is a newly created position, the VP will have the opportunity to build out the components of each service and create processes around each, then supervise the ongoing maintenance of those processes.

The new Vice President-Support Services should exhibit a strong personal walk with God that is shown through actions and lifestyle, a passion for evangelism, and a demonstrated track record of leading, mentoring and training teams. He/she will have experience with continuous process improvement and metrics management approaches, excellent communication skills, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment where multi-tasking is constant. A Bachelor’s degree is required for this position, with a Master’s degree preferred, however relevant work experience will be considered. Some travel may be required, but the candidate for this position must reside in the greater Atlanta area or be willing to relocate.
