FaithSearch Partners has been retained by Adventist Health in Roseville, California, to manage searches for two new members for its corporate Board of Directors. Adventist Health is on a journey to restructure its Board to gain greater governance effectiveness.
Adventist Health wishes to bring onto its Board two women with relevant expertise and distinctive views on the future of healthcare. They are specifically seeking women for these two positions in order to expand the gender diversity of the Board.
Candidates may be physicians, executives of healthcare companies or health insurers, public health leaders, community health leaders, leaders in healthcare advocacy organizations, executives of major purchasers of healthcare services, executives of providers of healthcare services, or other senior level leaders.
“Two years ago, Adventist Health retained FaithSearch for similar searches: 4 new board members, all experts in different subject matters. That strategy of varying board member expertise has proven so effective for them, that they are continuing that approach with these two new board seats,” said Ed Reifsnyder, Senior Vice President at FaithSearch Partners. “Successful candidates will need to be experts in their fields and will be compensated, recognizing the level of competency and commitment sought by the company.
