FaithSearch Retained by Maryland Hospital for Chief Nursing Executive Search

Maryland-based Shady Grove Adventist Hospital (SGAH) recently selected FaithSearch Partners to conduct the search for its Chief Nursing Executive (CNE). SGAH is a 339-bed hospital located in Rockville, MD, a rapidly growing suburb in the Washington D.C. area. SGHA was founded in 1979 and employs more than 2,000 healthcare professionals.

“Shady Grove is experiencing marked growth including three recently completed expansion projects which added more than 200,000 square feet to its hospital facility,” said Ivan Bartolome, senior vice president at FaithSearch Partners. “Amid this growth, the CNE will be responsible for fostering a culture of patient excellence, quality and service, in addition to ensuring that operational, financial, and customer service goals are met.”

FaithSearch is now seeking qualified candidates for the CNE position, one that reports directly to the President of Shady Grove. The new executive will oversee all nursing care at SGAH including six major service lines: Emergency Medicine, Mother Baby, Cancer Care, Surgical Services, Outpatient Services and Cardiac Services.

“The Chief Nursing Executive will cultivate a patient-first attitude among the nursing staff on all levels and act as a mentor to enhance communications across the hospital,” said Jim Boyle, senior vice president at FaithSearch Partners.
