FaithSearch Partners has been retained to manage the search for the President of Adventist Health/Tehachapi Valley in Tehachapi, California. The hospital is a 25-bed Critical Access Hospital now under long term lease by Roseville, CA-based Adventist Health, a multi-state, faith-based health system with 20 hospitals in the western U.S.
A $90 million dollar replacement hospital is nearing completion, with a grand opening scheduled for early 2017. Tehachapi is a community of 10,000 population with a service area of approximately 50,000 residents located in a 4,000-foot elevation mountain area southeast of Bakersfield.
The President of Tehachapi Valley Hospital will provide overall leadership and strategic/operational direction for the organization, reporting to the President/CEO of Adventist Health’s San Joaquin Community Hospital/Kern County.

The city of Tehachapi is quite scenic and vibrant, located in the Tehachapi Mountains, attracting visitors with festivals, special events, bicycle races and a cooler climate than its surrounding areas,” said Ed Fry, President of FaithSearch Partners. “The future President will need to be an experienced leader with the ability integrate into the community and have an enthusiasm and personal commitment to the ministry mission of Adventist Health.”
