Point Loma Nazarene University is seeking candidates for the Dean of the Reuben Welch School of Theology and Christian Ministry. The Dean provides strategic, academic, and spiritual leadership for the school, advancing its mission within the context of PLNU’s Christian liberal arts tradition.
The Dean oversees academic programs in the school; supports faculty development and scholarship; ensures academic quality and accreditation compliance; and fosters strong student learning and formation. The Dean works collaboratively with university leadership, faculty, staff, and external partners to enhance the mission of the school, resource development, and service to the church and broader community.
PLNU is a Christian liberal arts university in the evangelical, Wesleyan tradition, offering quality undergraduate, graduate and professional programs. The university exists to provide higher education in a vital Christian community where minds are engaged and challenged, character is modeled and formed, and service is an expression of faith.
