FaithSearch Partners is pleased to announce the launch of a search for the Director of Development at Southside Christian School (SCS) in Simpsonville, South Carolina.
Southside Christian School is a premier, Christ-centered school serving over 1,400 students from Early Education through Grade 12. Founded in 1967, SCS partners with Christian parents to equip students to grow in Christ, excel academically, and impact their community. The school is consistently ranked among the top private schools in South Carolina and holds exemplary accreditation through the Association of Christian Schools International (ACSI). SCS is also accredited through the Council on Educational Standards and Accountability (CESA).
SCS is seeking a Director of Development to serve as the strategic leader of its fundraising efforts and a key partner to the Head of School. This role is not simply about fundraising; it is about cultivating a school-wide culture of Biblical stewardship, strengthening relationships with families and supporters, and inviting the community to invest in the next generation of Christian leaders. This leader will play a visible, relational role on campus and in the broader community—serving as a trusted ambassador for SCS and its Christ-centered mission.
Southside Christian School recently completed a new strategic plan, “Vision 2030: Seeing and Shaping,” which represents a bold and prayerful commitment to discerning God’s direction for the school community over the next four years. This comprehensive plan includes four focus areas: Flourishing Students: spiritual and academic growth, Facility: enhancement and expansion, Fiscal: strength and vitality, Faculty and Staff: care and well-being. Additionally, SCS just completed and opened a new $22M expansion that provides 63,000 square feet of new learning areas. The new Director of Development will play an essential role as SCS moves forward with this bold vision and further campus expansion.
