Tribute to Jack Coale

We were saddened to learn that our dear friend and colleague, Jack Coale, passed away last Saturday near Austin. Coale’s death marks the end of his courageous struggle with severe head injuries resulting from a major traffic accident in Alabama four years ago.

Ed Fry, President of FaithSearch Partners, had the pleasure of knowing Coale for more than 20 years. Their paths initially crossed in the mid 1980s when both men were working for the Joint Commission on Accreditation of Healthcare Organizations (JCAHO). Years later, Coale became one of the first Vice Presidents of FaithSearch and helped lead the firm’s healthcare division.

“Jack was a friend, colleague and a wise counselor,” said Fry. “He had the uncanny ability to encourage and challenge at the same time. Those of us who knew him were shocked to learn of his tragic automobile accident in 2008 and inspired as he and his wife, Nancy, together fought through endless rehabilitation. We’ll miss him greatly but look forward to seeing him again in a heavenly reunion.”
