FaithSearch Partners is pleased to announce that its client, Andrews Memorial Hospital in Kingston, Jamaica, has selected Dr. Marvin Rouhotas as its new President and Chief Executive Officer (CEO).
As CEO, Dr. Rouhotas will lead the private hospital to continue to improve clinical quality, add clinical services and support physician leadership. He will also collaborate with the local community and health care providers so the hospital can continue to grow clinical services. In addition, Dr. Rouhotas will explore opportunities for “medical tourism” and provide leadership for the ongoing arrangement with United States of America to provide medical testing for all Jamaican residents immigrating to the United States.
“Dr. Marvin has a unique skill set and experience in health care and faith-based organizations that made him the best candidate for this role,” said Ivan Bartolome, Senior Vice President at FaithSearch Partners. “I know he will embrace the community in Kingston and will continue to build on the legacy that was created while Dr. Patric Rutherford led the hospital. The hospital’s mission to be of Christian service to the community is of utmost importance to Dr. Marvin.”
Dr. Rouhotas most recently served for six years as CEO/Administrator to La Paz Behavioral Health RGV, Inc. in Rio Grande Valley, Texas. Prior to that, he served as Vice President of Outpatient/Ancillary Operations for Jellico Community Hospital in Jellico, Tennessee. He holds a medical degree from the School of Medicine at the University of Montemorelos.
Andrews Memorial Hospital was founded in 1945 by a group of Seventh-day Adventist missionaries seeking to bring quality health care to the Jamaican people in a Christian environment.
