FaithSearch Partners is pleased to announce that its client, Southwestern Adventist University (SWAU), has selected Chad Giles as its next Vice President for Financial Administration, effective May 19, 2025. Southwestern Adventist University is an accredited, comprehensive institution of higher education. Total enrollment is more than 800 students, representing more than 35 states and 20 countries.
“Southwestern has selected a great leader in Chad who already understands the University, the community and the stakeholder groups so well. His extensive work and leadership with the Seventh-day Adventist Church through the General Conference Auditing Service (GCAS) has prepared him to be an excellent servant-leader for the University,” said Ivan Bartolome, Executive Vice President at FaithSearch Partners. “I know he will ‘hit the ground running’ for Southwestern.”
With more than 25 years in finance leadership, Giles spent many years with GCAS and most recently in public accounting. He has a master’s degree in Management and Accounting from the University of Maryland and a bachelor’s degree in Accounting from Columbia Union College (now Washington Adventist University). He holds a CPA License in Maryland and Texas.
