FaithSearch Partners has been retained to conduct a search for a Chief Academic Officer for Seattle Pacific University (SPU).
Founded in 1891 by the Oregon and Washington Conference of the Free Methodist Church, SPU is recognized as a “Best National University” in the most recent U.S. News & World Report annual rankings. As one of the foremost Christian liberal arts universities in the nation, SPU currently enrolls more than 2,600 graduate and undergraduate students.
The Chief Academic Officer is a critical and visible leader at SPU who provides academic leadership across six colleges and schools, university ministries, academic services, study abroad programs, and the library. The next Chief Academic Officer will enter at an exciting time in the university’s history as it is Dr. Deana Porterfield’s inaugural year as President.
