Rick Fisk comes to FaithSearch Partners after serving thirteen years as the President & CEO of Covenant Retirement Communities (CRC), the fifth largest faith-based, not-for-profit serving the senior living industry. In addition to being a member of the CRC board, Rick served as an advisory member to the organization’s parent board, Covenant Ministries of Benevolence (CMB). CMB provides strategic oversight to the retirement communities and for the work of two church-owned hospitals. From this board perspective, Rick developed an understanding of the operation of mission-driven medical centers, and the importance of the match between executives and the organizations they lead.
Rick’s career niche is church-owned not-for-profit businesses, which has been supported by his undergraduate degree from Nyack College and his Master’s from Ashland Theological Seminary where he studied organizational development within the church. Rick has also served as Vice President of Presbyterian Homes and Services of Minnesota, President of Children’s HeartLink International, and Director of Major Gifts for Crown College in St. Bonifacius, Minnesota.
Rick is an ordained minister for the Christian & Missionary Alliance Church. Through his previous work as an extension agent for a church conference, he developed a continuing interest in enhancing leadership impact at churches and parachurch organizations.
In his professional capacity, Rick served as a member of LeadingAge’s Faith Based Council, CRC board of director’s member, advisor to the CMB board, chair of the board of Covenant International Insurance Company, Covenant Solutions and Business Development, and Covenant Care at Home. As a volunteer, Rick served as a member of North Park University’s Board of Advisors, board member of Mission Moving Mountains, and as a current board member of The Paul Carlson Partnership. Rick was a charter member of the Rotary Club in Waconia, Minnesota.
