As COO, Shannon will oversee all non-nursing operations and is tasked with driving employee engagement, clinical quality improvement, customer service and productivity. He will reinforce a culture that fosters business development, a high level of collaboration, and consistent, accountable processes within the organization.

Shannon most recently served as COO at Ochsner Medical Center in Kenner, La. and has held several leadership roles in health care facilities over the last 15 years. He holds a master’s degree in health services administration from St. Francis University, a master’s degree in business administration with a concentration in healthcare administration from Northeast Louisiana University, a bachelor’s degree from Louisiana State University and several diplomas from the U.S. Army, including an Officer Medical Operations Diploma.
