Palm Beach Atlantic University was founded in 1968 as a coeducational Christian liberal arts university and is in the vibrant and beautiful community of West Palm Beach. Palm Beach Atlantic University’s vision is to be the premier, Christian university offering whole-person education that prepares students from around the globe to tackle the problems of their day with godly character, open arms, and a servant’s heart.
The new Dean of the School of Liberal Arts and Sciences will need to establish credibility as a strategic servant leader, gaining in-depth insights into Palm Beach Atlantic University, and establishing direction for the organization. In support of the university’s mission and objectives, the Dean of the School of Liberal Arts and Sciences leads the school in achieving its mission of fostering intellectual curiosity, open inquiry, critical thinking, the pursuit of knowledge, responsible civic engagement, and a deep understanding of the relationship of the Christian faith and reason.
