MultiCare Health System, a nearly $2 billion regional not-for-profit healthcare organization based in Tacoma, Washington, has selected Maria Granzotti, MD, as its new Senior Vice President of Quality/Integrity/Medical Affairs. As Senior Vice President, Granzotti will report to the System CEO and serve as the Chief Quality Officer as well as the Chief Medical Officer of the system, establishing strategic direction to improve clinical quality and physician leadership throughout the entire organization.

Dr. Granzotti has held physician leadership roles for the last seven years. Most recently she worked as Chief Physician Executive for the Central Illinois Division of Hospital Sisters Health System. She has a medical degree from University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center, completed her residency at Rush-Presbyterian-St. Luke’s Medical Center, and has a master’s degree of business administration from University of Massachusetts.
