FSP Leaders, an affiliate of FaithSearch Partners, is pleased to announce that its client, MultiCare Health System (MHS), has selected David Carlson, D.O., to be its next Senior Vice President, Provider Enterprises and President, MultiCare Medical Associates.
In this critical role, Carlson will report to the President/CEO of MHS and assumes overall accountability and oversight for physician and provider-related operations and business ventures throughout the system. He will be responsible for MHS’s Clinically Integrated Network organizations as well as for the system’s residencies and the emerging Virtual Care/E-Care strategies. In addition, he will be responsible for overall leadership of 800-provider MultiCare Medical Associates, as well as the Urgent Care and Occupational Health Business units and their performance improvement.

With 27 years experience as a physician leader, Carlson most recently served as Chief Physician Executive for Hospital Sisters Health System in Springfield, Illinois. Prior to that, he served as Chief Medical Officer for Conemaugh Health System in Johnstown, Pennsylvania. He holds a doctor of osteopathic medicine degree from Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine, a master’s degree of business administration from Alvernia College, and a bachelor’s degree of science from Pennsylvania State University.
