The Vice President-Men’s Services for Atlanta Mission is a critical member of the ministry’s Program Leadership Team. He or she will coach and lead a team of men’s program leaders to align programs and services on two campuses: The Shepherd’s Inn, the downtown men’s emergency shelter and recovery program serving 350+ men per day; Fuqua Hall, the downtown’s men’s transitional living program serving up to 90 men per day; and The Potter’s House, the 550-acre rural, recovery and transitional living program serving 240 men per day in Jefferson, Georgia. The Atlanta Mission’s men’s services division serves approximately 700 men each day on two campuses.
The Vice President-Men’s Services is responsible for nurturing and inspiring a Christ-centered culture and a sense of a community across all of the Atlanta Mission’s men’s campuses, exhibiting love, kindness, respect, efficiency and a relentless pursuit of excellence, ensuring that clients and guests hear and experience the gospel of Christ. The Vice President-Men’s Services will guide programs focused on meeting each client’s physical, emotional, social, spiritual and vocational needs. He or she will lead a team of caring professionals, dedicated staff and partners—all willing to be used by God to see lives transformed and restored. The Vice President-Men’s Services is responsible for the full continuum of care and programs from emergency shelter to transitional housing as well as long-term recovery programming. Food service, housekeeping, transportation and facilities are provided as a “shared service” and managed by a peer-level Director-Guest Services.
The Vice President-Men’s Services currently reports to the Executive Vice President, David Hanna.
