Founded in 2009, Faith & Freedom Coalition works to mobilize American conservatives, people of faith, and their allies to be effective citizens, impacting public policy in a positive direction. F&FC champions conservative values, stronger families, and individual freedom from a faith-based point of view, and the organization’s vast network of grassroots supporters and activists work toward the expansion of those ideals. F&FC focuses on its five-fold mission of promoting civic action, advocating Coalition values to the media, influencing legislation and public policy, and protesting bigotry against people of faith.

Faith & Freedom Coalition is currently seeking a Director of Development to lead all aspects of fundraising, development strategy, major gifts, and donor relations. The Director of Development is responsible for growing and enhancing F&FC’s established donor base in addition to building up and overseeing the organization’s direct mail process. The Director of  Development will report to, and work in collaboration with, the Executive Director to create and execute the overall strategy for funding Faith & Freedom Coalition and partnering with key individuals, businesses, and foundations nationwide.

The ideal candidate will possess at least 10+ years of experience in nonprofit fundraising and donor management, with proven ability to secure and maintain relationships with donors of major gifts, including corporations. He/she should have advanced knowledge of fundraising/development techniques, practices, standards, and reporting, and be able to leverage current relationships and expand F&FC’s donor base from its traditional roots. The new Director should also have experience building and managing direct mail or other marketing campaigns. Additionally, s/he should possess strong political knowledge and reflect a faith-centered life in both word and action.
