The Senior Vice President for Finance and Administration will report to the CEO. He or she will be responsible to maintaining fiduciary accountabilities and for enhancing the internal organization processes and infrastructure to help facilitate the Navigator calling. The SVP partners with the U.S. Field directors, and other National Leadership Team members, as well as support the worldwide partnership of affiliated national works under the leadership of Mike Treneer, international president, and the International Executive Team. This collaboration is primarily through shared insight and support to structures and process improvements
The new SVP, Finance and Administration will bring complimentary skill sets in financial leadership and operational innovation that will take on responsibility for maintaining fiduciary accountabilities and enhancing the organization’s processes and infrastructure to help facilitate The Navigators mission. The ideal marketplace profile will include some leadership experience in a VP of Finance or CFO role, leading to an operating leadership responsibility at the division executive or corporate COO or CEO level. The ideal ministry background may include a similar path or could include financial leadership with partnered operating responsibilities. In either case, the financial skill set (CPA preferred, but not required) must be a core part of any selected candidate’s profile.
