National Field Director

The National Field Director is responsible for overseeing the state affiliates, local chapters, and field structure of the Faith and Freedom Coalition. There are currently 30 state affiliates and approximately 400 local chapters. The Field Director reports to the Executive Director.

The Field Director’s main responsibility is to launch new state affiliates and strengthen existing state affiliates. He or she will also supervise the national field staff, which consists of two Deputy National Field Directors and a proposed Director of Training, who is responsible for the Citizen Action Seminars that train grassroots activists in basic citizenship and effective civic engagement.

The National Field Director also works with state affiliates in organizing state and local events, including fundraising dinners and luncheons featuring nationally prominent dignitaries, Citizen Action seminars, Lobby Days at the state capitol, and rallies. It is his or her primary responsibility to ensure these events are well-attended and achieve their organizational, developmental and public policy objective
