Northrise University is a Christ-centered university located in Ndola, Zambia. Founded by Dr. Moffat Zimba and his wife, Doreen, Northrise is the first nationally recognized private university in Zambia. The University has recently moved all operations to their main campus and completed a new $3.2 million (26,000 square foot) Campus Center building with plans to expand student capacity from the current 750, to over 2,000 by 2025. This growth has created a new position of Manager of Campus Facilities and Farm Operations.

The Manager, Campus Facilities and Farm Operations will primarily be responsible for the management and stewardship of all University property including grounds, facilities, and related infrastructure and oversight of farm operations. In addition, this position recruits and trains quality staff dedicated to the University’s overall success, and will report to the Vice President of Operations. Northrise is seeking an individual with an enthusiastic and maturing Christian faith who has an understanding of, and is committed to, the development of the University.

As this is a new position within the organization, the selected candidate will have the opportunity to create, build, and train a strong team of maintenance professionals, lead a team of experienced farm personnel and manage capital projects. As such, the ideal candidate will have 5+ years of experience in property / facilities management, including supervision of staff, a Bachelor’s degree in Facilities Management, Facilities Engineering, or related qualification, such as project, business or construction management. He/she should also have working knowledge of principles and practices of project management, business administration and human resources.
