World Vision is currently seeking a Major Gift Development Officer (MGDO) to lead all aspects of fundraising, development strategy, and donor relations for the region. The MGDO will be responsible for growing and sustaining long-term, effective relationships with individuals and foundations and will act as a spokesperson for World Vision, increasing awareness and understanding of the holistic needs in the world. The MGDO will manage and coordinate the integrated regional fundraising efforts for the Major Gifts Program, National Accounts, and Gift Planning.

The ideal candidate will possess at least 10+ years of experience in nonprofit fundraising and donor management, with proven ability to secure and maintain relationships with donors of major gifts, including corporations. He/she should have advanced knowledge of fundraising/development techniques, practices, standards, and reporting. Above all, he/she should be passionate about World Vision’s mission and commitment to promoting transformation in the lives of individuals and the global community.
