Founded in 1978, Cypress Christian School (CCS) is a private K-12 Christian school, where the Christian emphasis and biblical worldview are an integral part of the academic curriculum, weekly chapel services, athletics, fine arts and special programs.
CCS is seeking a High School Principal who will have primary oversight and responsibility for all of CCS’ high school programs. Serving under the direction of the Executive Director, the Principal will oversee all policies within the high school, supervise all high school teachers/staff, and manage volunteers and programs. Most importantly, the Principal will be responsible for fulfilling the school’s mission of honoring Christ providing students an education based upon academic excellence and biblical values through the school’s High School program.
Ideal Principal candidates will hold a masters degree and must possess a valid Principal certificate (ACSI or State of Texas), or receive the same withing one year of employment. S/he will need to bring excellent leadership skills and complex administrative experience to CCS, with classroom teacher experience preferred. The Principal must also have a commitment to integrity and biblical teachings, and be able to fully support CCS’ Lifestyle Statement.
