The Executive Director of the Faith and Freedom Coalition is responsible for day-to-day operations as well as overseeing policy development, donor development, media relations, legislative activities, and finances. He or she will report to the chairman of the organization, and will accountable to the Board of Directors.
FFC’s next Executive Director will need to be a strong leader and manager. Direct reports to this position include the National Field Director, Director of Development, Director of Legislative Affairs, Chief Financial Officer, and various consultants and administrative staff. The ED will set goals and priorities for the organization and meet regularly with the staff to determine progress in reaching the objectives and make the adjustments necessary to achieve them.
The Executive Director is responsible for the annual policy conference. He or she will be responsible for determining the venue, negotiating with vendors, recruiting attendees and speakers, and obtaining media coverage to ensure the overall success of the conference.
