The Director of Legislative Affairs will be expected to manage the daily functions of the Faith & Freedom Coalition Washington D.C. office, engage public policymakers and their staffs, and represent the interests of Faith & Freedom Coalition in substance and spirit. This position will report directly to the Executive Director of FFC and will provide monthly written reports to the Chairman and Board of Directors.
The ideal candidate for this position must have prior political and/or legislative experience, as well as previous involvement in political or issue campaigns; professional trade association or Capitol Hill experience preferred. The new Director of Legislative Affairs should also be productive, competent, and dependable with a collaborative, team spirit, have excellent people and communication skills, both written and verbal, and must reflect a faith-centered life in word and action. The candidate will also need to be currently living in, or willing to relocate to, the greater Washington, D.C. area.
