Founded in 1973 by Dr. Moishe Rosen, Jews for Jesus began as a small cadre of young Jewish believers in Jesus, dedicated to reaching out with the good news of the Messiah to people in their community. Over its 44-year history, the ministry has expanded to thirteen countries and 25 cities around the world. Jews for Jesus continues to embrace new, creative modes of ministry to keep up with changing times and technologies, and the Jews for Jesus staff and corps of volunteers spans multiple generations including Boomers and Millennials.
Jews for Jesus is currently seeking a Chief Financial Officer to provide overall vision for financial policy for the organization. The CFO will establish financial and operational strategy and lead all aspects of financial administration, business planning, risk management, budgeting, and reporting. The CFO is an integral member of the Executive Leadership Team (ELT) and ensures the integrity of the ministry’s fiscal accountability and stewardship in keeping with the Jews for Jesus mission and values.
The ideal candidate will possess at least 10 years of progressively responsible experience in accounting or financial leadership, with a minimum of 3 years of executive leadership experience as a CFO or equivalent. He/she should also have demonstrated experience in vision casting, strategic planning, and team building. Most importantly, the candidate must lead a lifestyle which actively reflects his/her commitment to honor God and uphold the Jews for Jesus mission.
