Founded in 1983, Missionary Athletes International is a non-profit Christian organization whose mission is to glorify God and see lives transformed by communicating the message of Jesus Christ through the global environment of soccer. Through Missionary Athletes International programs, coaches and players grow together in athleticism and fellowship as they become equipped to influence lives the world over for Christ.
Missionary Athletes International is seeking visionary, relational leader to serve as Chief Executive Officer for the organization. The CEO will be responsible for determining strategic direction and leading overall business management. As a committed follower of Christ, the ideal candidate will be passionate about the mission of MAI and combine this passion with leadership in the areas of future organizational development and success. The CEO will collaborate with senior leaders to help ensure the implementation and achievement of board-approved performance objectives and strategic goals.
The ideal candidate will possess at least 10 years of progressively responsible experience in a comparable ministry or marketplace setting. Experience in media relations a plus. S/he must also possess a track-record of successful team leadership and collaboration with a Board of Directors. Above all, the candidate must live a life which actively reflects Missionary Athletes International’s mission, vision, and core values.
