The Crossroad Publishing Company | FaithSearch Partners

FaithSearch Partners is pleased to announce its partnership with The Crossroad Publishing Company to assist with their search for a Chief Operating Officer. Crossroad Publishing is a small, yet well-established, publisher located in Tyler, TX with deep expertise in sharing knowledge and understanding. The Crossroad Publishing Company’s work is built on the lives of six generations of publishers, editors, authors, artists, revolutionaries, saints, sinners and mystics. In 1798, Bartholomaeus Herder began to publish books with the goal of impacting life with good books. Today, Crossroad publishes under two imprints with a backlist of approximately 500 titles, serving a broad Catholic and Christian readership.

The Chief Operating Officer (COO) is a pivotal leader at Crossroad Publishing Company and a key member of the leadership team. Reporting directly to Publisher and CEO Dr. Gwendolin Herder, the COO will work in close partnership with the Publisher, freeing her to concentrate on editorial vision, author relationships, and the long-term growth of the company. This is a remote position, with the expectation of periodic in-person collaboration with the Publisher.

This is an entrepreneurial opportunity for an operator who is energized by building rather than refining — someone who can bring structure, clarity, and follow-through to a lean, growing organization. The ideal candidate is a low-ego, servant leader who is comfortable with ambiguity, able to earn trust quickly, and excited to grow into broad ownership of day-to-day operations over time.

If you are aware of qualified individuals for this unique opportunity, please contact Tray Herndon at therndon@faithsearchpartners.com. Interested candidates can also forward a current resume/curriculum vitae via email. All inquiries will be held in strict confidence.
