FaithSearch Partners is pleased to announce that Ed Jones, MBA, has been named as Executive Director of Development at Southside Christian School (SCS) in Simpsonville, South Carolina. Jones brings more than 15 years of advancement and nonprofit leadership experience, with expertise in major gifts, campaign planning, donor stewardship, financial oversight and strategic partnerships. Jones began his new role at SCS on June 1, 2026.
Before joining Southside Christian School, Jones served as Vice President for Advancement at Jessup University. He previously directed a $15 million capital campaign at Cambridge Christian School that resulted in the construction of a new high school facility, while increasing annual fund revenue by 120 percent over three years. During an earlier tenure at Jessup, he secured $2 million in planned-giving commitments and established the university’s first Legacy Society.
Jones earned an MBA from William Jessup University, a bachelor’s degree in history from California State University, Sacramento, and a Diploma in Theology from INSTE Bible College. He is known for his collaborative leadership, transparent communication and ability to align philanthropic strategy with an institution’s mission and long-term priorities.
