FaithSearch Partners is pleased to announce its partnership with The Timothy Initiative (TTI) to assist with their search for a Vice President, Global Operations. The Timothy Initiative is a global movement making and multiplying disciples, churches, and leaders, one village at a time. Since 2007, TTI has partnered with local believers to plant hundreds of thousands of churches and to raise up a new generation of indigenous leaders who are transforming their own communities for Christ. Today, that work spans five regions: Southeast Asia, South Asia, East Africa, West Africa, and the United States, with plans to double in size by 2030.
The Timothy Initiative’s ministry model is based on 2 Timothy 2:2, “And the things you have heard me say in the presence of many witnesses entrust to reliable people who will also be qualified to teach others.”
The Vice President, Global Operations will lead the organizational side of The Timothy Initiative, distinct from the movement and field ministry side. This role will be part of the Global Leadership Team, and though this position sits on the organizational side, it is fundamentally a field-facing role. Its purpose is to provide operational support that allows ministry in the field to move forward without unnecessary friction. Operational systems, timelines, and best practices exist to serve the mission and will be adjusted, or set aside, whenever they create friction for work in the field, whether that friction comes from a sudden change on the ground or simply from unreliable power and internet access in a given region.
The position is based on-site in Raleigh, North Carolina. Travel is a requirement with an estimated nine to twelve weeks of international travel per year, and roughly monthly trips in year one to build trust with field and regional leaders.
