On behalf of the College of the Ozarks, FaithSearch Partners is pleased to assist in the search for the next Provost and Vice President for Academic Affairs. Serving as the institution’s chief academic officer, the Provost provides mission-centered leadership for all academic programs, faculty, and educational initiatives, stewarding the College’s distinctive model of Faithful Education.
Grounded in a deep Christian faith, the Provost partners closely with faculty to advance academic excellence, foster a culture of trust and collaboration, and integrate learning with the College’s Christ-centered mission and work education program. The Provost provides strategic oversight of curriculum, accreditation, and faculty development while offering steady leadership within a fiscally conservative, non-tuition-driven model. Working alongside the President and senior leadership, the Provost aligns academic priorities with institutional vision and resources, supporting students with compassion and rigor and helping position the College for long-term academic vitality.
Innovative academic leaders who are energized by building sustainable, mission-driven alternatives to conventional higher education models are especially encouraged to explore this opportunity.
