FaithSearch Partners is pleased to announce that its client, Charleston Southern University (CSU), has selected Dr. Shelley Greene as its SVP for University Advancement, effective May 18. Charleston Southern University is an independent, comprehensive Christian university grounded in the liberal arts tradition, affiliated with the South Carolina Baptist Convention with enrollment of over 4,000 students. The institution’s governing principles reflect its strong commitment to the Christian faith, academic excellence, and the preparation of graduates who model servant leadership.

Prior to joining Charleston Southern University, Dr. Greene served as VP for Enrollment and Advancement at Chowan University in Murfreesboro, North Carolina. An accomplished advancement leader, she has helped institutions achieve significant endowment growth, secure transformational gifts, and successfully execute major capital initiatives. At Randolph Community College, she helped double the foundation endowment and led a multi-million dollar capital project, while at Chowan she secured several of the university’s largest annual gifts and advanced significant planned giving opportunities. Known for her strategic leadership and passion for philanthropy, Dr. Greene brings a proven ability to connect donors with mission and inspire generous investment in an institution’s future.
She holds a Doctor of Strategic Leadership from Liberty University, a Master of Science in Integrated Marketing Communication from West Virginia University, and a Bachelor of Arts in Mass Communication/Marketing from Campbell University.
