Bethel University | FaithSearch Partners

FaithSearch Partners is pleased to announce that its client, Bethel University, has named Sherryse Corrow, Ph.D., Dean of the College of Arts, Sciences, and Education. The College of Arts, Sciences, and Education brings together undergraduate, adult undergraduate and graduate programs, along with certificates, under one academic unit as Corrow begins this leadership role.

“We were honored to partner with Bethel University in this important search and to have the opportunity to work closely with Dr. Corrow. She is an exceptionally bright, capable, and dedicated leader who brings both strategic insight and a deep commitment to higher education. We congratulate both Bethel University and Dr. Corrow and wish them every success as they begin this exciting new chapter together,” said Jacqueline Gustafson, Vice President, Higher Education at FaithSearch Partners.

Corrow has served on Bethel’s faculty since 2017 and is currently professor of psychological sciences and department chair. In addition to her leadership at Bethel, Corrow brings a strong background in cognitive neuroscience research and teaching. She earned her bachelor’s degree in psychology from Minnesota State University Moorhead and her master’s and doctoral degrees in child psychology with an emphasis in cognitive neuroscience from the University of Minnesota Twin Cities. She also completed four years of postdoctoral training in neuroscience at the University of British Columbia.

“I’m pleased that Dr. Sherryse Corrow is joining our academic leadership team as she follows in the steps of a long line of strong academic leaders for our programs in arts, sciences and education,” said Robin Rylaarsdam, Ph.D., Bethel University Provost. “Sherryse brings to this role a deep commitment to Bethel University and excellence in undergraduate education, and proven abilities to listen, learn, dream, and develop for the future.”

The search was led by the Bethel University Search Committee, with support from FaithSearch Partners, and included input from students, faculty, staff, alumni, and other members of the Bethel community. Dr. Corrow officially assumed her new role in June.
