Maryland System Appoints New CEO

imgs-AHC-photos-terry-forde_v2Terry Forde has been named the new president and chief executive officer of Adventist HealthCare (AHC), an integrated, health-care delivery organization based in Gaithersburg, Maryland.

Forde, who has served as the organization’s executive vice president and chief operating officer since 2011, has overseen the growth of AHC during his tenure including the expansion of outpatient services and clinics to better serve area residents.

He previously served as an executive for eight years with Centura Health, the largest health system in Colorado.  Forde takes over at AHC for former president and CEO, William G. “Bill” Robertson, who earlier this year accepted a new role as the president of MultiCare Health in Tacoma, Washington.

As reported in last month’s newsletter, Robertson was the first client of FaithSearch Partners.  More recently FaithSearch assisted the AHC Board/CEO Search Committee in establishing an assessment process to evaluate internal candidates in order to determine whether or not to launch an external search.
