FaithSearch Partners is proud to announce its partnership with Adventist HealthCare Shady Grove Medical Center (SGMC) in launching a national search for a Chief Medical Officer. SGMC is a 305-licensed bed acute care facility located in Rockville, Maryland. The medical center operates as part of Adventist HealthCare, a faith-based, not-for-profit integrated, healthcare delivery network serving the Washington, D.C. metropolitan area.
Ed Fry, President of FaithSearch Partners, will be leading this search. “Adventist HealthCare and Shady Grove Adventist Medical Center are outstanding organizations providing critical and quality healthcare to the Washington D.C. metro area” said Fry. “Their next Chief Medical Officer will need to be an experienced physician leader with a passion for delivering patient centered, mission-driven quality care.”
The Chief Medical Officer will be accountable for and oversee, among other things, clinical quality/patient safety and medical staff relations within the hospital. The position will serve as a critical and core leader for all hospital strategic initiatives.
