FaithSearch Partners, Inc., a top ten healthcare executive search firm based in Dallas, TX, has announced it has added two prominent healthcare leaders to its board of directors. The new directors are Leon Leach, former Executive Vice President of University of Texas MD Anderson Cancer Center in Houston, and Arthur L. Rice, a long-time healthcare entrepreneur who is now with a Dallas-based investment banking firm, MCR Capital Advisors.
For twenty years, Leach served as the top non-physician executive at MD Anderson, leading the number one ranked cancer center in the world to significantly expand its footprint in the U.S. and around the globe. His background includes leadership roles involving strategy, finance, operations and insurance/managed care. Following his retirement from MD Anderson in 2017, Leach continues to provide strategic consulting for major healthcare organizations and serves on other for-profit and not-for-profit boards. He holds a PhD from University of Texas, an MBA from Widener University, and a Masters in Christian Education from Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary.
Rice has been a leader in healthcare since the 1960s, including starting one of the early stage HMOs and later founding a company which grew to become the largest provider of hospital-based home health services in the U.S.
“We are thrilled to add to our board such outstanding leaders,” said Ed Fry, FaithSearch President/CEO. “Their insight, wisdom and counsel to the firm as we continue to expand our services in healthcare and other faith-based not-for-profits in the U.S. and beyond will be invaluable.”
