FaithSearch Partners is working with the Florida Conference of Seventh-day Adventists to help find a Head of School for a new Adventist school in Tampa, Florida. Construction on the, yet to be formally named, $18.6 Million school will begin in November 2016. Classes will begin at the new school in August 2018. The Adventist school is supported by four local churches committed to the mission of providing quality academic education in a Christian environment. These churches include: Brandon Seventh-day Adventist Church, Tampa First Seventh-day Adventist Church, Tampa Spanish Seventh-day Adventist Church and LifeSpring Adventist Church.
The Head of School will be the first leader to be hired for the new Adventist school and will eventually have several teaching principals reporting to this role. The Head of School will focus on curriculum, developing spiritual initiatives, strategic vision, campus development, community collaboration, and fundraising for the school. Before classes begin in August 2018, the Head of School will provide guidance for campus construction, curriculum design, hiring of faculty, and student recruitment.
“This new Adventist school in Tampa is an exciting progression in Adventist education with exceptional support of the local Adventist community and the Florida Conference ” said Ivan Bartolome, Senior Vice President at FaithSearch Partners. “The Head of School will need to be a unique and academically-prepared leader with a calling for progressive Seventh-day Adventist education. Th Head of School will need a wide range of skills and will be a proven academic mentor, student and family recruiter, campus developer, and an active and visible school promoter. At FaithSearch, we have been involved in several projects for Adventist education, and we are honored to manage this search for a Head of School in Adventist K-12 education.”
