With over 25 years’ experience as a senior human resources leader, John Williams’ mission is to assist faith-based and faith-motivated enterprise to develop their talent to the highest levels of engagement. John joined Halftime Talent Solutions in 2017 and will continue his search leadership role in the Mission Enterprise Division as a Vice President.
John begins with a strategic understanding of the organization’s vision and mission assessing their leadership and organizational alignments, and provides human resource systems, processes, policies, data or specific talent to help the organization effectively deliver on their mission. John uncompromisingly pledges to manage and help his clients deliver excellence in all they do. His strengths play to employee attraction and retention, employee engagement, benefit design, wellness, leadership coaching and performance management.
John’s human resource leadership includes Senior Vice President, Human Resources for Pursuant, a philanthropic professional services firm; Vice President, HR for ITC^Deltacom, a $500M telecommunications service provider, and has held HR executive and leadership positions with technology services firms including EDS, Clearwire Communications, ActionSystems, and MCI Systemhouse.
John is an active member of the Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM), a worldwide organization for HR professionals, where he previously served as an HR certification instructor, and has achieved certification as a Senior Professional in Human Resources (SPHR). He has been a featured blogger on workforce trends for RCR Wireless News, a leading news and information source for the wireless industry.
After earning a BA degree in Fine Arts from the University of Texas, John has remained an avid supporter of the arts, and performs as a jazz trombonist on his personal time. He resides in Dallas, TX, and has been married 39 years to his high school sweetheart. They are active members of All Saints Anglican Church in Dallas and spend as much time as possible with their three children and nine grandchildren.
