FaithSearch Partners is pleased to announce it has been retained to manage the search process for the next President and CEO of Andrews Memorial Hospital (AMH) in Kingston, Jamaica.
AMH was founded in 1945 by a group of Seventh-day Adventist missionaries seeking to bring quality health care to the Jamaican people in a Christian environment. Twenty years ago, it partnered with Florida Hospital, the flagship facility for Adventist Health System and one of the largest hospitals in the U.S. This established a “sister” relationship with the stateside facility to assist in a revitalization program, developing a master plan for future expansion and growth. The Hospital is known for its dedication to educational programs and training for health professionals. It is supported by long-term partnerships with academic partners which also include Northern Caribbean University, University Hospital of the West Indies, and Loma Linda University.
“We are honored to be selected to guide the premier private hospital in Jamaica Andrews Memorial Hospital through this critical search process,” said Ivan Bartolome, Senior Vice President at FaithSearch Partners. “Their organization is in a unique position to provide quality health care services and be a Christian service to the community. ”
AMH’s CEO will be responsible for continuing to lead the organization on a path of improved clinical quality, adding clinical services and improving employee engagement and patient satisfaction. The new CEO will also foster a culture of teamwork and collaboration internally and with the local health care community. In addition, the CEO will explore opportunities for “medical tourism” and provide leadership for the ongoing success of the hospital’s exclusive arrangement with the United States government to provide medical testing for any Jamaican resident immigrating to the U.S.
