FaithSearch Partners is proud to announce that the Dallas-based childcare and early education nonprofit, Lionheart Children’s Academy, has selected Jake Collins to lead the organization’s after-school and summer curriculum, known as the Pride Program. As Pride Program Director, Collins will oversee all elementary age programs and prepare Lionheart to scale the summer program rapidly as a stand-alone offering.
Lionheart CEO Stan Dobbs says the organization couldn’t be more excited to welcome Collins aboard and calls him “an enthusiastic, multi-talented leader who will bring years of youth discipleship and program development expertise to the team.” Mission Enterprise Division President, Greg Barnes, adds, “Jake will bring an exceptional combination of strengths to his role. He will undoubtedly serve Lionheart with passion and excellence.”
Most recently, Collins was Associate Director of the Forge program at Pine Cove Christian Camp in Tyler, Texas, where he found unique ways to engage and challenge those he led, including taking a group of 20 fathers and sons to run with the bulls in Spain. Prior to Pine Cove, he studied Biology and Genetics at Texas A&M University and enjoyed a short tenure in medicine. Collins also holds a Master of Science in Executive Leadership from Liberty University and a Master of Divinity from Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary. He enjoys mountaineering, story telling, writing, photography, college football, and is passionate about disciplining others and seeing them actualize their identity in Christ.
