Beth Israel Lahey Health in Boston, Massachusetts, recently selected Lina George as Chief Human Resources Officer. HealthSearch Partners, the sixth largest retained healthcare executive search firm and a FaithSearch co-founded firm, managed the search.

In this role, George reports to the 35,000 employee, $6 billion system.  She is responsible for the overall human resources strategy, initiatives, programs and activities for the health system.

With more than 25 years of human resources leadership experience, George most recently served as Executive Vice President/Chief Human Resources Officer of Grady Health System in Atlanta, Georgia. Her prior experience includes serving as Vice President of Human Resources for Walmart Latin America and Walmart U.S. East Business Unit. She holds a Ph.D. in Business Administration from Oklahoma State University and a J.D. from University of Denver’s Sturm College of Law.
