FaithSearch Partners’ Mission Enterprise Division is partnering with Dallas Seminary Foundation in a search for an Executive Director of the Foundation and Planned Giving. Dallas Seminary Foundation (DSF) exists to support the mission of Dallas Theological Seminary by offering charitable planned giving and other related services to friends of the Seminary. DSF services include wills and bequests, income planning, donor advised funds, scholarship creation, and advisory services. Gifts generated through Foundation efforts help ensure that DTS’ mission to “teach truth, and love well” continues for generations to come.
Dallas Seminary Foundation is currently seeking an Executive Director to provide leadership, vision, and overall administration to guide the Foundation in its mission to secure gifts for DTS through the effective development and implementation of comprehensive charitable estate and gift planning services. In addition to serving on the Dallas Seminary Board of Directors, the Executive Director reports to the DSF Board and the Vice President for Advancement at Dallas Theological Seminary.
The ideal candidate will possess at least 15 years of progressively responsible experience in nonprofit or marketplace leadership roles with at least 5 years of senior management-level responsibilities. He/she should have advanced knowledge and experience in charitable gift and investment planning, gift administration, donor development, and philanthropic education, marketing, and vision-casting. The ideal candidate will also have a clear track-record of leading and empowering high-performing teams and collaborating effectively with a strong Board of Directors. The Foundation Executive Director must be available to travel as required.
