FaithSearch Partners, Inc., has announced it has divested its equity position in HealthSearch Partners (HSP), which FaithSearch co-founded in 2018. Ivan Bartolome, HSP’s President, has acquired FaithSearch’s interest in HSP and will continue his leadership role at HSP.
Ed Fry, Founder/CEO of FaithSearch said, “This restructuring allows FaithSearch to renew its long-standing focus on executive search for faith-based hospitals, providers and healthcare systems, while continuing to serve all sectors of the faith community. I felt called to form FaithSearch in my executive search work with faith-based hospitals and healthcare systems from 1990 to 2007, first at Witt/Kieffer, the largest healthcare executive search firm, and then when launching the faith-based practice at Russell Reynolds Associates, one of the ‘big four’ international executive search firms. During this time, I kept noticing how critical it was for faith-based healthcare clients to find candidates who deeply and personally shared their faith-based mission. So 18 years ago, we formed a search firm that specialized in matching that spiritual component while ensuring excellence in other qualifications.
“Since the firm’s beginning, our faith-based healthcare division has been our cornerstone division. In recent years, we’ve seen significant growth in our education and non-profit divisions, and we expect continued growth in serving clients in both of these Kingdom-serving areas. Now we can return to a more robust focus on the firm’s foundational faith-based healthcare clients.”
Fry stated his appreciation for Bartolome’s leadership roles in both firms and believes the separation of the two firms provides an excellent platform for HSP’s future growth. He said, “We also look forward to Ivan’s occasional and residual search activity with FaithSearch when serving non-healthcare clients.”
