FaithSearch Partners is pleased to announce Ed Fry, President, and Jeff Jernigan, PhD, LPC, BCPPC, Senior Vice President and Ministry Team Leader, will be presenting a session at the upcoming Christian Leadership Alliance’s Outcomes Conference in Dallas April 19-21, 2016.
Fry and Jernigan will be hosting a discussion titled “Practical Wisdom for Developing Effective Leadership Teams,” which will focus on four major ideas: the criteria for constructing a team (aside from position in the organization), why the team facilitator and team leader may not be the same person, a team-based conflict resolution method and communication ground rules, and three proven criteria for effective teams.
“It is an honor to be selected to present at the Outcomes Conference,” said Fry. “Cultivating powerful and effective leadership teams is crucial to the success of any organization, and Jeff and I are thrilled to have the opportunity to share what we’ve learned over the years and help others build that caliber of leadership within their organizations.”
“We hope that after this session, leaders will come away with unique, often counter-intuitive ideas and practices that will help them construct productive teams and avoid the all-too-frequent experience of frustrated team members, all with the goal of furthering their organization and the mission of Christ,” Jernigan added.
The 2016 Outcomes Conference is the 40th anniversary of the Christian Leadership Alliance (CLA) and will be celebrating the theme “Perspectives,” which will take the opportunity to explore where God has brought Christian leaders and organizations through CLA over the last 40 years, where they are today, and God’s plan for the future. CLA seeks to equip and unite Christian leaders to transform the world for Christ. For more information about the Outcomes Conference, please visit the event site.
