FaithSearch Partners has been retained to conduct the search for the Vice President/Chief Financial Officer for Central Texas Medical Center in San Marcos, Texas, a distant suburb of the state capital city of Austin. Central Texas Medical Center is a 170-bed hospital, with approximately 750 employees and 228 active and consulting physicians, providing a wide range of healthcare services for the city of San Marcos, Texas, and the neighboring communities. The hospital is a part of Adventist Health System (AHS), the largest Protestant healthcare system in the U.S. Based in Altamonte Springs in the Orlando area, AHS is a $9 billion organization that operates more than 40 faith-based acute care hospitals and other healthcare entities from the Rocky Mountains to Florida.
The new Vice President/Chief Financial Officer (CFO) will serve as a critical leader on the executive team for Central Texas Medical Center. The CFO will be responsible for overseeing all financial services hospital-wide and envisioning and implementing financial goals, plans and budgets. Reporting to the President, the CFO will serve on a wide variety of leadership, management, medical staff and corporate committees. The position will be accountable for meeting financial, quality, operational and customer service goals in areas related to financial services for the hospital.
