Baptist Hospitals of Southeast Texas (BHSET) has chosen FaithSearch Partners to conduct the search for its new Chief Operating Officer. The two-hospital, faith-based healthcare system employs more than 1,500 individuals and includes 364 operating beds.
The COO will be responsible for all non-nursing operations across the BHSET system, ensuring the organization meets expectations in regards to quality, satisfaction, productivity and financial performance.
“Baptist is a very successful and well-respected non-profit healthcare system in the Beaumont area, and their standard of leadership is extremely high,” said Ed Fry, President of FaithSearch. “Our thorough search process will not only enhance the qualified candidate pool but also increase the likelihood of a long term organizational and cultural match with our client organization”
In addition to Baptist Beaumont Hospital and Baptist Orange Hospital, the BHSET system includes three other major facilities: the Julie and Ben Rogers Cancer Center, the Baptist Physicians Network (a 501a for employed physicians) and the Fannin Behavioral Center. The non-profit has grown during the past 15 years to become the market leader in the Beaumont/Port Arthur service area.
